I have to start off this entry with an apology to a former friend. He sent me a cryptic email and never replied to my request for clarification. In fact, he isn’t responding to my email at all. So I have decided to use my blog as a standing apology and hope that he reads this one day.
I never meant to hurt you or lead you on about anything. In my mind I thought I was quite clear with you that I could not reciprocate being a friend in the way you wanted. Seeing my actions through the prism of what you thought our friendship had evolved into, I could understand that my subsequent actions must seem a betrayal. I can only write that I never intended to betray you or hurt your feelings. I greatly enjoyed our friendship and I am sorry that it has come to this. If ever you change your mind, you know how to contact me.
